4 Pita Break Sunrise Apple Cinnamon Pitas 3 eggs, lightly beaten 1 tbsp. milk 1 tbsp. butter, divided 1 tsp. sugar ½ tsp. cinnamon maple syrup, optional
1. In large shallow dish, combine lightly beaten eggs with milk. 2. In small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar. 3. Using sharp knife, slice the Sunrise Apple Cinnamon Pitas into halves leaving two thin full rounds (there will be eight thin full rounds). 4. Immerse Sunrise Apple Cinnamon Pita thins into milk and egg mixture, turn to coat both sides. (You may have to work in two or three batches) 5. Meanwhile, preheat large skillet with lid to medium-high heat, melt ½ tbsp butter. Place 2 or 3 pita rounds into skillet, cover. Cook for 3 minutes or until golden; turn, cover and cook 3 more minutes or until golden brown and slightly puffy.
Keep warm or serve immediately, repeat steps 4 and 5 with second batch.
Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon & sugar mixture. Top with maple syrup (optional).
